This Privacy Policy explains how Duelo (the “App,”), provided by Metekia Data & Analytics (“we,” “us”), handles information when you use it. By using Duelo, you agree to this policy.
Duelo is a group party game: you create or join a room with a short code, then vote head‑to‑head on a topic, argue for your pick, and crown a winner.
The short version
- No account, no login. You don’t sign up, and we don’t collect your email, phone number, or password.
- We collect very little: the display name you type, the picks you make during a game, and a random, throwaway player ID for the duration of a game.
- No tracking. Duelo contains no analytics, advertising, or third‑party tracking SDKs.
- No microphone, location, or contacts access. Duelo does not record audio or access your location or contacts.
- Game data is temporary. The names and votes in a room are deleted when the game/room ends.
Information we collect
We only collect what’s needed to run a multiplayer game.
1. Display name
When you set up your profile or join a room, you choose a display name (free text, up to 16 characters). It is shown to the other players in your room. You can enter anything you like — a nickname is fine; you are not required to use your real name.
- Stored on your device so you don’t have to re‑enter it.
- Stored on our game server (see Service providers → Supabase) while you are in a room, so other players can see who’s playing.
2. Gameplay information
While a game is live, the server holds the state needed to keep every player’s screen in sync:
